So, one of the most amazing things that I've found essential oils are amazing for is making your own beauty products.  Not only do they smell wonderful, and are often very uplifting, but they can have incredible effects.

Lavender

Lavender is a multifaceted oil and I use it for MANY things.  This is an oil that I never allow myself to run out of because I use it for so many things, but I'm only going to talk about one of those things today, and that's the effect that it's had on my hair.

I wish I had a way to show a before and after, but I have been using this on my hair for a few years now, so the only evidence I can offer will be the comments I've received from other people.  I had started seeing a hairstylist prior to beginning the use of this oil in my hair.  After a few months of using it, she asked me what I was putting in my hair because it was so soft, shiny, and thicker.  I have fine hair and have always struggled with that.  This oil has changed that.  The strands are still fine, however, it is thicker.  I have so much more hair.  I am constantly getting compliments on my hair since I began the use of this oil.

It's so simple.  I put a drop or so in my hand (I was using two to three when my hair was really long), rub my hands together to distribute the oil, and run my hands through my damp hair.  I then blow-dry as normal.  Not only does this oil make your hair thicker and healthier, but it smells amazing. 

If you're going to try and oil, Lavender is the oil I would suggest trying.  It's a fairly affordable oil.

That may sound like a lot, but trust me, it lasts a long time.  The last time I ordered a bottle was over 6 months ago.  I am just now needing to order another bottle, and as I said I use it A LOT.
